Reviews
I used this tool as an alternative to Kahoot; to randomise questions for my students and to let them work thorough it at their own pace.
Some students liked that they were able to work through the questions on their own, however the majority preferred the competitiveness of Kahoot!
I would recommend this to other teachers if they want to have their students work through a quiz on their own; you can still show results on the big screen (I believe – I didn’t try this).
My Year Nines absolutely LOVE this; their competitive streak comes right out! Disengaged students smash the desk in frustration when they get things wrong and hoot and holler when they succeed.
As always, use wisely and rotate with other activities to keep it fresh and appealing.

This is very similar to Kahoot, but the students can read the answers on their screens.
Excellent formative tool. I use it more than I use Kahoot because it allows me more characters and information on my questions. It also flashes the correct answer on the screen when a student makes the wrong choice. Students go at their own pace and love the memes that come up after each question. Music in Kahoot is better but I find Quizizz easier to use as a teacher with more complex questions. It also randomizes the questions for students.
