Description
VersoApp is a response system that allows students to review a prompt and respond anonymously. Once a student responds they can then see the responses of their classmates. The teacher can post video, audio, pictures, or web links to support critical thinking of the prompt. Students and teacher can respond to other students. The student responses are always anonymous to the students but in teacher view the teacher can see who is responding.

I have used VersoApp in my classroom for the last two years. I am blown away at the level of response and the learning opportunity after the student responds. Students are able to flag inappropriate responses but in my experience those have be minimal.
This tool is great for all subject areas and helps develop critical thinking g and writing skills. I like the option to post links to video and other media as post of the prompt.
Once in awhile I export the responses to GoogleSheets to share with others. I found it very easy to share a reflection on a field trip or school assembly from my entire class.
