Description
TOTI is a private online learning center for teens and adults with low literacy. Board-certified North American teachers with ESL or Special Education qualifications meet online with students privately or in small groups (up to 4). In between teaching sessions, teachers schedule practice time for individual students on the online practice tool which is configured to each student’s reading ability.
TOTI Virtual Teaching Assistant is a practice tool that uses innovative technology to help students improve their reading & comprehension skills. Students sign into their dashboard to see scheduled practice for the week. Students:
– choose what e-books to read
– follow along as small sections of text are read to them
– read and hear immediate feedback & phoneme-level corrections
– take comprehension quizzes when completing an e-book
Parents and teachers get detailed analytics on time spent, results and can listen to recordings.
TOTI Virtual Teaching saves teachers countless hours of assigning, overseeing and marking homework. Parents don’t need to drive to appointments and stay informed on their child’s progress. Students love the freedom of being able to work on their own, while still getting instant feedback correction.

We have seen a number of different students with various disabilities succeed and improve with TOTI’s practice tool. Teachers are thrilled to be able to teach from home on their own schedules.
