Primo

Primo is a technology company for children of all ages. A new kind of toy company on a simple mission: to design and build beautiful toys that help children learn and create with technology. From robots anyone can build and code in minutes, to tangible programming interfaces that teach children as young as 4 years old the basics of programming logic. We make toys based on simple DIY electronics that anyone can play and learn with, but that also come as complete, out of the box toys that require no supervision to be played with. To understand and create with technology means having the opportunity to take part in the creation of the future. We want to create products that give children this opportunity. Primo started as a kickstarter project, raising £56,000 to develop our first product, the Cubetto Playset and Cubetto Robot. Since then the project developed into a company with a solid mission and a shared vision from it’s founder to develop toys and technology for children.

Our products are built in the UK, combining natural materials and electronics for a magical experience Cubetto Playset: The Cubetto Playset is our flagship product. It’s a tangible programming interface that teaches children programming logic without the need for literacy. It’s composed by a tangible programming interface, a small robot called Cubetto and a set of tangible instruction blocks that children arrange on the board to write simple programs for the robot.
