Number Line by Classworks

A number line helps students visualize number sequences and prove, explain, and check their work on math equations.

Research has proven that quality math instruction includes fostering number sense and operational fluency. The Classworks Number Line can be utilized by teachers to develop greater flexibility in mental arithmetic as students actively construct mathematical meaning and number sense, understand the relative magnitude and position of numbers, as well as visualize operations. The Number Line has a variety of tools and is able to display different increments including positive and negative whole numbers, decimals, or fractions and can be utilized by individual students or for small group/whole class instruction.
