Modern Chalkboard

This site was created for elementary school teachers who want to integrate the SMART Board into their regular, classroom instruction. Interactive whiteboards are not a gimmick or trend that will fade from education, but rather powerful tools that can make your lessons more exciting, informative, creative, and enriching.

All SMART Boards come with Notebook software – a powerful package that allows teachers to create their own lessons. However, if you’re like most teachers, you don’t have the time to create a new interactive whiteboard file for each lesson you plan to teach. That’s where we come in! ModernChalkboard.com has files that cover all areas of your curriculum, including math, grammar, ELA, science, and social studies.

We’re hoping to fill this site with hundreds (and eventually thousands) of interactive whiteboard lessons. Each one will have features that allow students to interact with the board.

The lessons on this website are easy to use- just download the file, turn on your SMART Board, and begin teaching.
