Description

Description: Learning for Justice is a website that provides educators with free resources to help foster understanding and human rights for all. Learning for Justice provides multiple articles, lessons, and films to support civic engagement.

Implementation: Educators can implement Learning for Justice to teach students about diversity. Using the provided lesson Exploring Diversity through Books, students will explore how they are the same and different from others, how the way they live is similar and different from others, and how to learn more about other people. Students will explore diversity through visuals, text, and multimedia resources. Students will then create a collage to demonstrate their learning of diversity within their community. This site supports students in learning about diversity in race, ethnicity, and abilities. Learning for Justice also supports learners at all levels with different types of resources such as text, visuals, and multimedia.
