Description
gotoClassroom is a classroom management platform inspired by the ecosystem founded by smartphones. We created the platform for content providers such as software developers — especially teachers, students, parents themselves — to supply solutions towards deficits in education. Our vision is to create a new ecosystem for education.
gotoClassroom is a free service which hosts the basic functional classroom tools — notes, assignments, live discussion, quizzes, calender, gradebooks, and attendance — for teachers/educators to build and begin managing their online classroom in minutes. For a more customized experience, teachers/educators can find and install additional tools from the gotoClassroom’s App store. Each application is seamlessly integrated into the platform’s user interface meaning that apps readily draw from user data and circumvents popups, tab switching, and downloads. gotoClassroom’s vision for the App store is an online space where new and established EdTech applications may have a space to promote their solutions.
Each user also has a Dashboard which not only manages their classrooms, but also provides an important networking tool. This Dashboard allows teachers, parents, and students to exchange ideas and share potential opportunities. Furthermore, users can design their online professional profile with our portfolio/resume tools and further hosted under a web domain name.
