EssayTagger is a web-based tool that helps you grade your essays faster by eliminating the repetitive and inefficient aspects of grading papers. You’ll be able to speed up your grading process without sacrificing the quality of the feedback you give to your students.
EssayTagger is not an auto-grader. You still do all the grading yourself, but now you can do it faster!
No software to install
EssayTagger works entirely in your web browser so there’s nothing to download or install on your computer. This means it doesn’t matter whether you use a Mac or a PC, whether you’re at school or at home. You can grade essays from anywhere in the world where there’s an internet connection.

The ideal scenario is to have your administrator purchase a year-long license for you and your colleagues. A free trial includes unlimited class sections and a max of 99 total essays; grade one full assignment at no cost. |
| Group License | Fill out the group license form for a formal quote | You or your administrator can complete our group license request form for a formal quote. The quote will be for full school year licenses that are billed in a single invoice. Quotes are pro-rated based on the remaining length of the school year. Personal licenses can be purchased if school funds are unavailable. Personal licenses are billed as a monthly subscription at the same $20/month rate. |
