Causera is a platform dedicated to making social fundraising easy. Traditional fundraising is timeconsuming and hard. Everyone sells the same overpriced cookie dough, wrapping paper, and candles door-to-door. Or groups need an army of volunteers to get donations for auctions or sort items for rummage sales.

Causera is a social fundraising platform where your school or community group can raise money promoting products and businesses people actually want. We only work with brands who are committed to helping you succeed.

Causera was founded by a group of tech veterans who are also enthusiastic parents. It all started as a need, a simple but widespread need, to make fundraising easier, more viral, and, honestly, more valued-added to everyone. (Ask yourself, do you REALLY need yet another overpriced candy bar, magazine, giftwrap, or overpriced ANYTHING?).

What started as a way to make fundraising easier for our kids’ schools has now become a bigger platform for all types of nonprofit organizations – political, scouting, sororities, alumni groups, dance groups who are all feeling the economic pinch and volunteer fatigue. Along the way, we have established partnerships with hundreds of businesses – local and national, and have realized that we are also changing the way they target and acquire new audiences. By working with both nonprofit organizations and businesses, we are delivering a place where causes meet social commerce.
