Why did we build Alphabet Board? Studies of kids’ cognitive development have proven a few key facts:

• Comprehending cursive accelerates a child’s ability to read, because it associates phonics with flow
• As a child learns reading comprehension, cursive plays a critical link between the sensorial world and true reading – check out the Moveable Alphabet in Montessori (PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS WHAT WE USE IN OUR MONTESSORI. THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN MONTESSORI SCHOOL APPROACHES.)
• Students are typically exposed to script and type-face letters, which has been shown to initially delay reading development
