Teachers can take any video content (from YouTube, Vimeo, or TeacherTube for example) and turn it into an interactive experience by embedding time-based multiple-choice questions that students answer as the video progresses. Teachers then assign lessons to students and can track their progress within their PlayPosit account.
Blubbr - Free; Web-based..... Blubbr is a quiz creation service where teachers can create interactive questions based on YouTube clips. Teachers enter a topic, and Blubbr will generate a list of videos to select from. Teachers trim the clip to a length they like then write out your question and answer choices (for as many video clips as needed). Students then watch the short clip(s) and answer a multiple choice question about that clip, with immediate feedback.
TED-Ed - Free; Web-based..... TED-Ed publishes professional videos and animations relevant to education. Their platform allows teachers to build lessons by adding questions and notes to any presentation. The interface allows students to watch and then access resources their teacher has provided, via a unique URL that tracks student responses.

EDpuzzle is a site where teachers (or students) can take almost any video from the web, edit it down to the portions wanted for instruction, add audio notes and questions for students, and check for understanding. Teachers create virtual classrooms where they can monitor individual student work.
teachem - Free; Web-based..... Teachem helps you make YouTube videos interactive by adding questions, Flash Cards and SmartNotes to the videos at the exact place you want them to appear. The interactive videos you create can be made private, with access only to students with your school’s email address. The site supports create a separate ‘school’ for each subject, course, or teacher, with some data analysis functionality.
