Whether you use a laptop or a handheld electronic device, these apps are great tools for successful searching and enjoyable reading
Used in many libraries, OverDrive is a way to grab that ebook! You need to make an account, but it's definitely worth the trouble of setting it up. Another app that isn't listed here is OneClickDigital, where you can access audiobooks from your public library. It's a great app, and you will probably be able to locate it on your library's website.
G for Goodreads also means G for Book Geek. I use this app to review books I have read and read other reviews. I can share the list with friends -- whenever anyone asks me if I've read a good book lately, I can easily send them a list.
This is the eReader app you will use in order to access eBooks from the library on your personal device. You can also use it to search our library's collection of ebooks and check them out from here. You'll use your Destiny login information.
To use this app, you'll need to first go to our LHS EBSCO account from school or home. At the bottom of the screen, you'll be able to email yourself the key to accessing the EBSCO databases from portable devices.
This is a great way to see what you have checked out. You'll use the same username and password to log in to your Destiny account.
This is a totally useful library tool. I paid extra for Genius Scan + because I love it so much. Instead of using the scanner in the library, use this!!!
