Virginia Bautista

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Communication

Bio

I love writing and enjoy working with – and playing with – words.

As a writer, I constantly read, watch, listen and observe. The more I acquire knowledge and gain skills, the more I realize that it isn’t just writing that I want to do. I enjoy learning and I feel fulfilled in sharing what I’ve learned.

Indeed, writing is my passion. Teaching is my drive. I succeed in both because of my love for learning.

My mission as an educator is to guide students in embracing 21st century learning while developing critical thinking skills, as well as to help them discover their strengths, nurture their talents, and succeed in their chosen career paths.

I teach: Writing for New Media; Introduction to Communication Theories

To ages: 16 to 21
