Steven Engravalle is currently Founder and Chief Education Officer of Valemont Learning Consultants (VLC). VLC is a consulting firm that offers services to address 21st century challenges in education for public, private, and charter LEAs and higher education institutions and transform them into successes. Additionally, VLC is the leading consulting partner to the K-12, Higher Education, and Educational Technology research, investment, venture capital, and private equity industry and its key stakeholders. VLC advises investors across the entire investment life cycle for the K-12 and Higher Education space as well as provides organizational and leadership coaching and strategic guidance.

Mr. Engravalle is a recognized thought leader in education and technology and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events focusing on pedagogical, operational, and technological innovations in the education sector.

Previously, Mr. Engravalle has served as the State Chair of Technology in New Jersey (2010 – 2013). Through this position, he used his statewide influence to promote technological innovations in all of New Jersey’s schools that would enhance pedagogical practices to develop 21st century learners and advance fiscally responsible, thorough, and efficient school district operations. In this role, he also chaired Techspo: the State of New Jersey’s largest technology training and exposition convention for school district leaders in Atlantic City. In addition, Mr. Engravalle was the Superintendent of the Fort Lee Public Schools (2010 – 2013). Prior to coming to Fort Lee, he was the Superintendent of the Hamburg School District in New Jersey (2007 – 2010).
