Based on initial feedback from teachers this app connects students with natural history collections while introducing them to the importance of natural history collections and their data and what it tell us about our biodiversity. The app introduces students to key scientific concepts as related to featured specimens, along with their geolocation data, and a Curator Challenge activity aimed for Grades 6-8 which can be downloaded from the app or the website as students learn how to read and understand data on specimen labels.
