We're looking for people to participate in usability research to make edshelf easier to use. Help improve edshelf!

Add a piece of edshelf to your own site with one of our widgets. We only have one so far, but more are coming!

Collection Widget

Embed an entire collection onto your site. Every time the collection is updated on edshelf, your embedded collection is updated as well.

Example embed code for the Teacher-Created Tools Collection:

How to embed this widget:

  1. Go to any collection on edshelf, such as Melvina Kurashige's Language learning tools.
  2. Scroll down to look for the "Widget" module in the right column, as you can see to the left.
  3. Copy the embed code. In our example, this code will look like:

    <div id="edshelf-widget"></div>
    <script src="//edshelf.com/widgets/collection?id=5495&height=550&type=collection&format=full"></script>

  4. Paste this code into your blog or website, much like you would a YouTube video or Storify widget. There are a few different formats in various sizes for this widget. Customize and pick the one that works best for you.
  5. And that's it!

P.S. Use WordPress? Download and install our WordPress edshelf Widget plugin!

Note: If your widget appears with a scrollbar, you can fix that by increasing the height of the widget. Return to the collection and look for the "Height" field in the Widget module. You will see a number in that field already: 500. Change that number to whatever you would like. It can go up to the thousands if necessary, since some collections are very large.
