“Addimal Adventure is an exciting, new way to teach addition facts! There’s nothing else out there focused on teaching kids strategies.” -Sarah B., 1st grade teacher, NYC

“Can’t wait to use this brilliant app in my classroom!” Jessica C., Kindergarten teacher, Maine

“My kids love this app, especially the speed round.” -Amanda W., mom of 2, Massachusetts

The sinister Professor Possum has destroyed the golden city of El Sumado and is building a robot set on destroying the world! Captain Memo and the Addimals have come to save the day, but they can’t do it alone. Help the Addimals win back the golden blocks and restore El Sumado to its former glory!

Developed by former teachers and experts in children’s cognition and learning, Addimal Adventure is an engaging game that teaches single-digit addition. The Addimal characters model effective strategies for solving math facts. Children practice using these strategies during the tool round, while the speed round encourages memorization, providing hints as needed.

Most addition apps focus on drill with digital worksheets and flashcards. In contrast, our app teaches effective math strategies and scaffolds learning to promote conceptual understanding and fact fluency.

Designed for Response to Intervention programs, Addimal Adventure is a great tool for classroom teachers looking to differentiate instruction for students. Our app is also great for parents who want to support their children’s learning.

Recommended Grades: K-2, 3-5 (intervention)

I love this app for many reasons. The first is that it teaches children different strategies necessary for adding in the early grades like counting on, using doubles, etc. The story is not baby-ish, which makes it a good tool to use with older kids with low skill levels. Graphics are excellent! This is a much more engaging fluency app than some others I use. Highly recommend!
