I used this with my First Grade students and they loved it. You have to create a username and password but it is free.

Great for letter sound and word recognition in K-2nd. There are 3 levels. The first level/game starts
with basic phonemes, letters and sounds. The second works
on blending and words. The third level game goes into reading sentences. Each level/game is pretty long and does a great job of building slowly to new skills.
It is available for free on PCs and for $4.99 on iPads and tablets. (there is usually a sale week in Sept. where the app is available for free)
