Sequencing: Life Skills – Lite

Description

“Sequencing Tasks: Life Skills – Lite Version” gives you the opportunity to preview our “Sequencing Tasks” series of apps. It focuses on the cognitive skill of arranging photos of a task in chronological sequence. This free app only includes one task which is “Washing your hands”. The other apps in the series contain 7 tasks each. All of the apps start off with a video demonstrating the life skills task. After the video is shown, a review of the task is provided using 3 still photos taken from the video depicting each step in the task. In this task of “Washing your hands”, the 3 steps would be “Put soap on your hands”, “Wash your hands”, and “Dry your hands”. After the review, the student is presented with the task of arranging the photos in chronological order by dragging and dropping them into a sequence. Statistics are gathered and saved for each session.

The tasks bundled in the other apps in the series are:

– Putting on sneakers
– Eating a hamburger
– Throwing out the garbage
– Buying candy
– Making scrambled eggs
– Talking on the phone
– Eating potato chips
– Washing your hands
– Eating cereal
– Putting on a bandaid
