Launched in November 2003, SchoolRack provides a free service for K-12 teachers and faculty to create a classroom website and share information online with students and parents. By encouraging collaboration among our users, we provide a safe environment for students to learn, parents to participate, and teachers to educate. Simply put: our work begins when class ends.
Our mission from the onset has been to seamlessly connect teachers, students, and parents through the Internet. Since our launch, we’ve been in a process of continuous improvement and have relied on feedback from our users to refine our website. Managing students, parents, and your classroom takes up much of your time as is – but we’ve created a product to save you just that in the long run.

Schoolrack.com is a website that allows educators to create, and communicate with their students and their students’ parents via a free, easy-to-use, and fun website builder. It is rare to find something online that offers all of the features that Schoolrack.com offers for free, and that is what makes it an excellent web tool.
The creation process for a student profile on Schoolrack.com is very simple, and can be done in about 5 minutes, and there is also no annoying email confirmation! You just need to set up your profile with an email and password, create a username, and you’re off and running. Then you need to subscribe to your teacher’s website and you’ll be able to get updates from them, receive and turn in assignments, receive messages from your teacher, and utilize message boards as a form of class discussion. Creating a teacher profile is essentially the exact same thing as creating a student profile with one small difference; you actually have to make the website after you set up a profile! Schoolrack offers a variety of free themes for the creation of your teacher site and then allows you to build and customize everything about it, with one small issue. If you want to create a super-fun, extremely customizable and unlimited everything website, you’re going to have to pay a small fee. Now, it’s not anything outrageous, but it kind of goes against the whole idea of the tool, that being that it is a FREE resource, but hey, who am I to judge the actions of website builder extraordinaires? Either way, SchoolRack.com is a great resource for both students and teachers looking to enhance the learning experience both inside and outside the classroom.
