Interesante marcador social. Me gusta porque:
– Lo primero, utiliza un sistema de clasificación jerárquica, que lo hace muy familiar y que además simplifica su uso.
– Pearltrees nos recompensa con creces: tiene un formato muy agradable y visual que hace que de un sólo vistazo encuentre el enlace que busco. Nos permite acceder a través de la cuenta de Twitter, Facebook o Google+. Los enlace se pueden compartir en redes sociales, embeber en el blog… Eso sí, de momento está en inglés o francés.

This visual bookmarking tool allows you to create and share your favorite sites. I love that you can "team" up to create a collection of pearls with other people. This is a social tool in that people can follow your pearls, see your pearls, and communicate with you through commenting and messaging.

Pearltrees è una comunità per condividere e organizzare i contenuti web che più ci piacciono: un modo originale, se volete, per mettere ordine tra i preferiti, ma anche una piattaforma davvero utile per i bloggers.
Pearltrees è un servizio gratuito che permette a ciascuno d’organizzare e condividere ciò che più gli piace nel world wide web seguendo la logica della content curation(far affiorare il miglior contenuto dalla rete). Questo motore di ricerca comunitario si fonda sull’idea che la moltiplicazione dei contenuti di natura diversa (blogs, video, twitt, etc..) renda necessaria un’organizzazione nuova della rete, d’ispirazione più semantica.
Il network di users di Pearltrees, il cui nome rinvia alle perle e agli alberi utilizzati come principio di rappresentazione dei contenuti, si estende oggi già in numerosi paesi. Ogni pagina di contenuto web è rappresentata da una perla; una volta organizzate, le perle sono collegate tra loro per formare degli alberi. Le tre funzionalità principali della piattaforma sono in effetti quelle di organizzare i segnalibri sotto forma di mappe tematiche (i pearltrees); connettersi ad altre mappe ed includerle nelle proprie; far scoprire un campo d’interesse nuovo ai propri contatti condividendo le proprie mappe tematiche sui social. E’ inoltre possibile rinominare gli alberi e le perle e aggiungervi dei commenti, twittare, ad esempio, una perla o ‘perlare‘ un tweet (ovvero inserirlo in un albero).
