The pro of Skydrive over Dropbox
1. More space 7gb vs 2gb
2. Online apps, able to edit a word document online
3. May be considered a con, but could really save you one day, when sharing a folder in skydrive, your friend can only access it online (it won't automatically download into their computer) dropbox can) but this is really a pro, since it doesn't allow anyone to change your original.
Cloud Storage. Syncs with your computers and smartphones. 7GB for free (25 if you already use it). Files can be shared via social websites or links.
SkyDrive from Microsoft is a collaborative office suite. Just as with many other online office suites, Skydrive allows for a collaborative environment for students and teachers. All documents can be displayed online or downloaded in Microsoft's default format, which is the most widely accepted format available today.
SkyDrive is a wonderful time saver, and a lesson saver. Keeping my lesson plans, presentations, and other documents on SkyDrive has already saved me time and stress. No more worrying about whether or not I brought the right flash drive to work. My lessons are always available on SkyDrive, from my classroom computer, my laptop, my home computer, and even on my phone. I can also use SkyDrive to share my lesson plans with my co-teacher and colleagues in my department.
