Kinvolved

Description

Kinvolved is a social enterprise working to elevate student attendance rates. Kinvolved’s mobile and web app, Kinvo, brings simple attendance data to life. With Kinvo, schools and nonprofits engage families through real-time, translated, text messaging. The Campus Kit, winner of the Robin Hood Foundation College Success Prize, supports community college students’ efforts to persist to graduation.

Through Clever, Kinvo automatically syncs and routinely updates roster information from districts’ student information systems.

Three in four Kinvo users reported improved student attendance, with 93% saying parental involvement increased in their schools in 2015-2016. Learn more by reading this New York Times piece (http://bit.ly/KinvolvedNYT) or viewing WPIX’s recent story on Kinvolved (http://bit.ly/WPIXHT).
