Hapara is an innovative cloud applications company with a portfolio of cloud products and services that provide enhanced functionality for education and enterprise deployments of Google Apps.

Our products and consulting services will make it easier for your organization to use Google Apps effectively.

Hapara's evolution from a cloud consulting to cloud products business came about from our experiences with deploying Google Apps in large education and enterprise environments. As a result, we develop products that address common needs identified during Google App implementations.

Hapara was founded as Cloudbreak Solutions Ltd in 2007 by Jan Zawadzki. Prior to this Jan was formerly the CTO of several technology start-ups in Silicon Valley in the 1990s; and the Chief Architect for KPMG's management consulting business, Bearing Point, in New Zealand.

The company is headquartered in New Zealand.

Our clients include Pt. England School and the Manaiakalani Cluster, Wellington College, NZ Post, Unitec, REANNZ, Base Two, Fred Hollows Foundation and others. Our product development is guided by real life requirements of Google Apps users.

Hapara sits on top of Google Apps, and for $4 per student per year, provides teachers with all of the functionality of an LMS with the basic Google Apps functionality. Combine this with other edshelf tools and you have a complete LMS. It could even provide an online course teacher with the fundamental course management course structure that the teacher needs in that environment.
