Math Champ Challenge (Teachers, Students, School Edition)- Free/Paid; iOS

Math Champ could be listed in Quiz and Poll creators, but because of its focus on Common Core Math it's listed here. It is a fun, innovative quiz game where students with an iOS device can compete to become to the class Math Champ. After the teacher creates a class and students choose their own own Avatar to be used in play. Math Champ has created hundreds of Grade 4-7 Common Core math quiz questions; teachers select the grade and the difficulty level and Math Champ automatically generate a quiz set. Questions are sent to each student's device in real time as play unfolds…Each question has a set amount of time to be answered, and each correct answer also earns a point, with bonus points for the fastest answer, and/or the first person to answer 5 questions in a row. Game-like rewards, in-game notifications, and colorful characters keeps student motivation going. When the quiz is complete, the leading scorer is declared as the Math Champ (until someone else unseats them). If desired, teachers can also enhance play by using an external display to show the Math Champ leaderboard during play. Teachers can also access student metrics with a record of results for all players for every quiz they complete, either in the app, emailed, or exported to a CSV file. The Teacher and Student versions are free (both are needed), while the School version costs a small fee and is customized for use in classrooms.
