SonicPics is a very easy to use tool for turning your images into custom slideshow movies that you can share with your friends online! SonicPics lets you add images from your iPhone’s photo library or camera, arrange your photos, and then narrate the project to create an enhanced m4v video (complete with chapters).

This app is a self-guided, interactive, professional development tool that assists teachers in learning about classroom management. Since classroom management is the number one concern of beginning teachers, but also the most frequently overlooked area during teacher preparation, teachers need to look elsewhere to learn about how to effectively manage their classrooms. This tool is practical and easy to use. A must have!

This creative writing app emphasizes writing by hand and reading. The writing prompts are funny and inspirational– and visual, with lots of photos of kids writing, and close-ups of their work too. One section is all about reading– book recommendations from writers about the books that inspired them to write. It’s also important to note that the writing prompts and projects were not developed for honors students, but were also used with low-scoring students in underachieving rural schools. Creative writing is like weight lifting, every repetition makes you stronger!
