This tool adds needed accessibility for those with reading and writing difficulties, learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, or English Language Learners for Google Apps for Education.
This tool is useful for organizing notes through providing audio notes in snippets that can be annotated, rearranged, and color coded. Provides a tool for struggling writers to pre-write using audio and then organizing their thoughts.
This is a very easy to use screen recording tool from Microsoft that has been around for a long time.
If you have a Mac, this is a great, free and easy tool to create screencasts. It allows you to capture audio and video, screen shots and make screen recordings. Unfortunately, the free screen capture features are only available for Macs. I would definitely recommend it to colleagues who want an easy way to create screencasts with a tool most people are familiar with as quicktime is used so often to watch videos.
This tool is a Chrome plug-in to provide screencasting with a Chromebook. It is simple to use and free. Adds great functionality to a Chromebook for creating “flipped classrooms” and explaining lessons.
Snapverter provides OCR support to make documents accessible. You can take a picture of a document, upload it to Snapverter and it will convert to an accessible PDF. It also converts DIASY files to epub, making it easier to use Bookshare files. This app is essential to provide accessibility for those schools using Chromebooks.
