To help me create connections between families and students through music.

I believe the students will be excited to share the music they are learning with their families and peers in and out of the classroom. However, for some parents, as this article suggests, this may be difficult. Some parents may be short on time, they may not be able to come to school and engage with them, and they may not be comfortable using music in their day-to-day life. That is why we educators are here, we want to create these links from home to school life. We want parents involved and we want to keep them engaging with their children. I think this site provides helpful suggestions and ideas for engaging parents and families in their children’s music experiences.
