I am a tutor at UC Berkeley's Academic Study Center, and I am also one of two Cal Football's Assistant Director for Student Academic Development.I take a public health approach when it comes to tutoring. I teach my students on how study, how to time manage, how to utilize all their resources (i.e. professors, books, the World Wide Web) in order to become independent students that by the end of the semester, they will no longer need me. This is awesome! Thanks for posting. I tutor student-athletes at UC Berkeley, and I'm always trying to figure out what tools to use so I can provide tutoring even when they're on the road for competitions/meets/games.
