In our school, children use SAM to create videos on everything from seat-belt safety to historical events! The learning curve is minimal so even children in year 2 can use it almost straight away. The buttons are large and clearly marked with simple icons. The process is very straight forward: point, and click. It is great for supporting individual learning and reflection. Best of all, there is a free version! I would definitely recommend this.
