The one that lands the number one spot for instructional video contents apparatus most especially in mobile phones is none other than Howcast.com website. You know why? It is because it produces a state of the art and high quality videos which counts for tens of millions per month on its multi platform distribution network. The most extremely delightful part is that video downloads from howcast is approaching two million downloads across iphone, ipad, android and Blackberry phones that is certainly within reach anywhere you go and anytime you want.

Reference.com also includes the Dictionary.com as part of its amazing features which is truly a destination for learning and the website speaks for itself since this site was owned by dictionary.com LLC and was launched in 1995, under the name of Lexico Publishing, LLC and was acquired by IAC in 2008. Today, it is the most-visited, most trusted, online dictionary. Their main goal is to empower learning and word discovery.

YouTube videos have always been an important part of learning. I've used this tool myself to learn hard mathematical concepts such as linear algebra. With this feature, that is available only for teachers and schools, you can only see important searches for your needs. You filter out all the bad YouTube content, which is useful for me in my classes especially when I am doing a demo. I recommend these to schools, especially to those who need to be competitive in the market; they need to get one.

This is one of the "cool" applications created by apple. You can create and design your own iMovie at home without spending lots of money paying for professionals. It can be used for different type of presentations, such as wedding and different types of parties, that you want to store because they are memorable to you. However, practice is important. You are not expected to get it right away. Just like in any other types of skill, practice makes perfect.

Adobe Photoshop is a useful tool if you are frequently editing photos. You can turn ragged photos into beautiful art, and you can remove parts that you don't like. It is very easy to use, and there are so many features that can guide you in how to do it. The pixel-level precision has an amazing detail. So if you are a personal photo lover like me, I recommend this tool for you.

Google Apps for Schools is a useful tool for teachers and schools. The email (Gmail) is personalized to your own school name so that when you send an email you are carrying the school company seal. There is also Google Docs where it is easy to share documents / spreadsheets only to users you want to be able to view them. You can also lock these spreadsheets so that others can only view them and not make any edits. The only problem I had with Google Docs is sometimes data is lost over time, so remember to save your data frequently on your desktop especially if it's important and hard to recover data.

This is a great way to learn spelling for kids. It is in a game format so kids will enjoy this; while also learning English grammar and spelling at the same time. It is good for mothers who want their kids to learn more and be on top of their class. Kids will enjoy using this application in their iPad. I recommend this not just parents but for other English teachers like me for their students.

Lesson writer is a useful tool for educators, especially for those who are teaching many subjects. It is very useful in creating examinations and other types of practice exercise for students. It basically simplifies a teacher's task, so you can perform several functions with a brief amount of time. This is also especially useful if you have other online tutoring projects, as it can save you a lot of time. I recommend this tool not just for teachers but also for other people who want's to re-practice their English to become better at it.

Google Books is a useful tool if you want to search for exact full text discussions from books. It is complimentary to Google and Google Scholar for lectures or research purposes. Sometimes you are looking for a particular reference from a particular journal that has cited a book, and you want to get the exact text from the book. I've also used Google Books if I can't find exact text discussions of things I am looking for in Google. This site is definitely a resource for everyone.

This is a very useful tool if you want to create and publish your own ebook. The pre-design templates are very good looking and you don't need to put in much work in terms of design in creating your own book. Since it is an apple application, it is design pretty well. It can also be combined with other applications available in the app store in case you need to. I recommend this to anyone who wants to publish their own ebook in case they need to. This is also great for educators who wants to create their own book with lessons to learn and read by their students.

This is one of the "cool" application on iPad. Creating ebooks has never been easier. You can take a picture, type words, and arrange you own design. Basically, anything is possible. Some of my students enjoy using this app, even little kids. I would recommend this to any parent who wants to teach their children now to write early. As this is a great tool that will help advance their learning.

Wikispaces is a useful tool for learning. I've used this tool for my students to create and collaborate for different projects. I will limit it to students whom I want to edit its contents, as I don't want just anyone to tamper with whatever I've written. It is very easy to use and understand. There is also room for creative design if you want to make it look pretty. The basic wiki doesn't cost too much so I would recommend it to someone who really needs it.

Animoto is a great way to create graphic presentations. It can be use to create motion slideshows that can be shown in parties, such as weddings and other important celebrations. You can share it to friends and family afterwards; and/or store it so you can watch it later again. There is a free version that you can use and practice to see if you like it or not. So that it can help you decide if you want to purchase a subscription.

Google hangout is one of the sites that can be used for video chatting, just like skype and yahoo messenger. The best time to use google hangout is when you are working together with colleagues on a document or a project; as the file transfers can be easily done here, especially if you need to do it back and forth frequently. I don't use google hangout that often, but it is a useful alternative to skype and yahoo messenger.

MotionMath is definitely a good way for kids to learn math, especially fractions. As we know, math is a difficult subject for kids especially for those who don't like it. Every bit of technology helps these kids in learning. As kids just like to play around with an iPad all the time, this is a good way to introduce math as an enjoyable subject to them. This game is not just entertaining but is also a good way to learn. So, I recommend this app to any parent who wants there kid to be smart and be on top of their class.

Acrobat X Pro is useful in saving important PDF's that you don't want anyone to touch or to corrupt your files. If you want to create files, especially web content, and don't want others to tamper your files, it is important that you locked your document from editing. This is especially important for me as I don't want to anyone to misuse my published work. I'm sure I'm not an expert in using Acrobat X Pro, as there is just so much to learn.

Mangahigh is a good place to learn mathematics, especially for kids. We all know that most kids don't like studying, especially hard mathematics. But when games are introduced into learning, it makes it seem more enjoyable for kids. The best feature about this site is the adaptability of questions. If the question is too hard, it reverts to an easier one. The logic is sound, because when kids feel that the questions are too hard or impossible, they would feel frustrated and stop using this site; therefore hinders learning. I don't only recommend this site to kids, but also for adults who love mathematics and games like me.

The National Geographic has been an important part of our history. Its videos are very informative, especially when the subject matter is science and/or history. If you don't know anything about a particular topic on your assignment or your research project, just watch the video coverage on National Geographic. I'm sure your brain would not leave empty handed. This site is not just for professionals and other serious people, it is also a good source of entertainment when you don't have anything to watch on the television. I know I've used it for my entertainment purposes. I'm sure you would enjoy it too.I recommend this to all.

Microsoft Excel is a very useful tool for record keeping, analyzing data, and simplifying task overall. It is a must for all business establishments. It is useful in documenting employee attendance, recording sales and other office activities, calculating wages and many others. Best of all, it can be shared only to persons whom you want to see your work. It is not just for business establishments, it can also be use personally, such as making your own record keeping of expenses and doing your own mathematical computation. Microsoft Excel can handle hard-core mathematical computations/formulas and graphs some we don't even know about. However, proficiency from Microsoft excel differs from person to person. Some love it, some hate it. But the more you practice, the more you will begin to loving it! I recommend this to all.

Google Earth is a useful tool that allows us to locate addresses from anywhere around the world. I know one of my employers has used this tool once when verifying my school address and afterwards describing to me the landscape of my school. It was amazing how he describes my school with pinpoint accuracy. The zoom in/zoom out feature is very useful and has a pretty amazing view. This tool is not just useful for employers, but also for anyone who wants to verify different places. If you want to go on a vacation and want to see the surrounding view beforehand, use this free tool. As a teacher, I can use this tool to show my students different locations. I highly recommend this tool for anyone who wants to see places where they're going beforehand or to anyone who just wants to see different views.

I have my own WordPress site and I find it very engaging to write my thoughts and express myself through my blogs. One of the strengths of this tool is that it walks you through making a website for free even if you are just starting. It will help you build your own themes, platforms and other widgets on your site through the dashboard. You can also check your daily stats. Although I agree that when I first use the site, I got confused when using the dashboard myself but I get by easily because of the helpful FAQs.

Through my blogs here at WordPress, I talked about my personal experiences and learning in life and when I talked about a certain topic with regards to my lessons, I let my students share their thoughts and opinions with it. I recommend this to all.

I love using this tool for years now. As an online tutor, I am continuously getting more tips everyday and I am able to see the different ways of how to teach properly online and how to express myself more to be a creative and effective teacher. What makes it special too is that you can choose from a lot of categories and almost all of the types of subjects are listed here already in just one click. It is also helpful for English and Science tutors like me because I can definitely link this video during my teaching hours on my students file for them to supplement our topic of that day.

This is also more practical to use to my students in English because they are able to listen to more proper English intonations and pronunciations even if it's not our teaching hours as well as to my Science students wherein they can definitely capture the difficult concepts right away through the creative video contents in Science. I recommend this to all.

Dropbox is a very large storage device software tool that is equally important as having a USB drive or a large memory computer drive. It helps you store large files such as videos, pictures, audios and large document files that cannot be saved from a regular email account. It is a very practical way of sharing information and files to your students and colleagues. One thing that I love the most about this tool is that it arranges your files and had it also automatically stored your files on your main desktop computer or laptop for an easier access. I definitely recommend this to all most especially for projects and large audio or video files.

This is one of the most powerful tool that I discovered which really helps people find inspiration, motivation and empowerment in their lives. You can find a whole variety of talks from very successful speakers coming from different fields around the world who will give you the ultimate sense of hope, encouragement and wisdom that you need both in your career, love and life through their own personal experiences and learning. These speakers are meant to inspire you, teach you, guide you to become better individuals. It's worth taking your time watching and listening to the videos.I recommend this to all speakers and educators.

I've been using Google Docs for a year now and I find it a very useful and practical tool most especially in online researches and educators in making online presentations and forms. It's simply a one stop website tool that is a great alternative for Microsoft office products. It has different templates to choose from when you are making a report. Google Docs can also form group presentations and you can collaborate and share with your group on the documents you are making with an automatic save on your changes in a very easy way because of Google Drive. This will also help you a lot on editing reports from your students or co teachers and bosses. I recommend this to all.

Skype is a very effective tool in communication. It has a lot features that you can choose from ranging from personal, group, business and education. It bridges the distance anywhere in the world. This is also a very helpful tool for online teaching and education. You can definitely use this tool anywhere you want or anywhere you want to go or would like to teach because it has a great communication signal, video calling, chat box and sharing of screens as well to your students. I am currently using this tool to teach my Japanese students online who are based anywhere in the world and I don't have any problems at all because it's user friendly and it is in real time video screen. It's ultimately a great educational online tool.I recommend it to all.

One thing that struck me the most on this website was their main mission to the world which is a free world-class education for anyone anywhere. This tool really wants to empower everyone through education without asking anything in return.

As you go on with the website, you can register free of charge. It does not matter who or where you are or what status you have in life as long as your intention is to learn. Once you registered, you can now fully check on the website with almost over 3,300 videos to choose from their website's library depending on your choice of subjects that ranges from K-12 math, science topics which includes the field of biology, chemistry, and physics, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Each video is very understandable and it is approximately 10 minutes long, and especially purposed for viewing on the computer. Isn't that a perfect for everyone? It's priceless!I will recommend this to my colleagues.
