The electronics lab makes it incredibly simple to learn electronics through Arduino without even needing an Arduino. This is great to test out projects before you get out the soldering iron out.

Fact Monster has a wealth of general information on a variety of topics. This makes it a great starting place when conducting research or to help narrow a topic. There are lots of homework help tools, study guides, and educational games. The website does have ads, but they are consistently located at the top of the page and is easy to distinguish from website content.

ColarMix is an app that allows you to take 2D pictures, customize their colors and textures, and then watch them come to life with animations.

I have only used the images included in their free selection (about 4 to choose from) and am thoroughly impressed. I used this tool with 1st graders and 5th graders, both were equally amazed. This tool was merely used for entertainment purposes, rather than to teach about 2D/3D or AR, but the students were engrossed in the activity. I can’t wait to see what comes from them next.
