Ms. Kristin Stout

I am a high school social studies teacher, working in the Sequoia UHSD for the past 15 years. I have had many roles including teacher, coordinator of new teacher support and professional development, mentor teacher, and most recently, English/Social Studies Resource Teacher and PAR Coach.I enjoy assisting teachers in using technology including DataDirector for student data and information, and SmartBoard technology. I like to help teachers integrate technology into their instruction and use data to inform instruction. While I try to keep up, I find that the newer teachers are often introducing me to new technologies and applications, while the veterans appreciate assistance with some of the basics. I am somewhat sandwiched in a place where I understand a great deal and don't understand a great deal.I am very excited and encouraged, however, by many of the possibilities that I have seen or encountered.
