This website is a great way to facilitate a conversation with all of your students. It increases participation from the reluctant students in class and provides great opportunities to target higher order thinking skills if used effectively. There is no need to create an account, and unlike other whiteboards, there is room for 25-30 students to write lengthy responses without taking up the entire board. There is a small amount of scaffolding needed (small learning curve), and it’s very customizable. As with any new website, I would definitely recommend experimenting with Web Whiteboard before you use it in class. Highly recommended!
