In class, during a group activity to keep students engaged and interested in abstract concept of earth sun and moon. This is a hard lesson to comprehend in the classroom but the students can play around with the different configurations and see how it changes.

This is a fun tool to use in class in one big group or have the students work independently or in groups. It lets them freely investigate the topic. We studied volcanoes together and they filled out a graphic organizer while reading about a volcano that they were interested in.
