This iPad app offers practice with various math skills/topics including money, fractions, number lines, and math challenges with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

This is the first of nine apps that help with writing sentences. Each app offers three levels of sentence writing in a fun and engaging game like play. The sentences get harder as the app levels increase. This is a great way to practice writing proper sentences.

This is a great app to use with the youngest iPad users. All tools are clearly displayed on the main page, which makes it easier for young users to change colors and make selections. You can upload images or draw images. The image saves easily to the camera roll in a folder labeled Doodle Monkey. This is similar to Doodle Buddy, but it has fewer features/choices, which is sometimes helpful with the very young.

This is a fabulous tool for your writers. It is a paid app, but one that will be quickly learned by young writers. The tools are very easy to use and easy to find. You can add images by drawing or uploading from a camera roll, add video from the camera roll or film within the program, add audio, and text.
