Pros: Lesson plans and follow-up information is provided along with the text. It can be viewed online or the short story can be printed. I would print out the short stories and create a classroom library out of them.

Cons: No interactive aspect.

I clicked on the “Spanish” tab to find articles by students for students on subjects pertinent to the Smithsonian’s mission. I am planning on assigning an article to be completed wherever the students can access the internet: library, classroom or phone.

Pros: Online resource for intermediate to advanced level Spanish. Articles can be assigned to students with follow-up quizzes.

Cons: Many of the older articles have not been edited for spelling and grammar errors.
