I love this tool. This is great for those who cannot afford to purchase a classroom response system. It is very easy to use and only requires sign up, a smart phone/handheld device, copier to print plicker codes, and paper to print them on.
Pros: You get quick data from your students to find out what they know and don’t know. Easy to use and easy set up. FREE!!
Cons: You don’t get as many results as you would with a paid learning system and you are limited to multiple choice questions.
I would definitely recommend this. I will be training K-12th grade student teachers in a few weeks and this is one tool we will be showcasing.
I love this wonderful tool! If you district/school supports Bring Your Own Device then you are in for a real treat.
The set up is very easy because as a teachers you set up an account and have your students download the app and enter your class code and you are ready to go. You can ask many different types of questions and even have them submit drawings.
This app is supported on iTunes and Google Play and you can show your real time data by displaying your computer screen or smart device.
Pros: Easy to use, Great results, Quick response from students, FREE
Cons: Haven’t found any yet!
I would certainly suggest this to others as I can’t believe this is FREE!
