Very simple to use tool for online collaboration. A bit like Google documents but without the need to have an account. Just start a new pad, share the URL and write together, even simultaneously. Collaboration can be done anonymously or by name. Every author gets his own background color, so the teacher can see who wrote what. In a chat channel you can share thoughts, questions etc. Great fun is the time slider function: see how the text evolved over time. Export the results to multiple formats, such as Word of pdf. Check the deletion policy: if the pad isn’t visited for some time the pad gets deleted.
