This is the most innovative and collaborative bookmarking tool around. Great for research around a topic at any age, especially teachers. Join a team and cultivate an interest tree…many hands are better than just yours! Highly recommended.

The app is an ideal accompaniment to those using book creator in order to produce photo or image collage to import back into their book.

This is the premier IB VLE. We have used it for 4 years and it keeps getting better. 5* all the way.

Fairly straight forward as is most apple applications, produced a trial book in an hour from scratch, works well with the many additional templates and options available on the app store.

However, unless you are going to publish to iBooks, your only other option is PDF which undermines interactivity, or embedding on your own web page. The file is far too big to send as email.

I am playing around with this at the moment, it definitely has potential, I will review when I have used it in a classroom setting.

Far better than PowerPoint, as long as you use it as keynote and not as a substitute for PP.

Use it in conjunction with iMovie to create instructional podcasts.

The easiest app to create great books available. Allows you to define how complex you want to make the book using different complimentary apps to create a layered approach (icomic to photgene to book creator) to simply adding an image and text…great.

Limits what you can do with an image once imported…no rotate option.

I like this, and with the advent of Ted Ed as a you tube channel….even better. I have used the RSA animated talks to start discussion and have embedded clips in whole class presentations.

Again, a useful entry level tool for publishing tasks, I use it on the iPad for quick publications, compares favorably with MS Publisher, but lacks the higher order tools provided by Adobe.

I have used this for several websites and collaborative work environments, easy to use and set up.

Worth using if you want to create your own subject website.

Highly recommended as an entry level tool into web design, good compatibility with google docs.

This is a great app, formerly called read it later, works well with Zite. Basically stores all your favorite articles for you to read later. Nice UI.

The best news aggregator available on the web. Ideal for extended reading at AP/A Level and IB students.
